Healthy Dessert with Banana and Chocolate

Do you have bananas that are slightly too ripe to eat raw? I personally am a little picky if I’m going to eat a banana raw it has to be the perfect ripeness for me. Yes a little picky haha.

I wanted a way to use up bananas that were slightly too ripe but I don’t like consuming loads of sugar.

I also wanted a pudding that was quick and easy to make.

It’s made of just 3 ingredients but you can add extras to it.

Bananas

Bananas are a nutritious and convenient snack, providing a rich source of potassium, vitamins C and B6, and fiber. These nutrients support heart health, digestive function, and even exercise performance. Potassium helps regulate blood pressure, while fiber promotes satiety and healthy gut bacteria.

Full Fat Milk

Full-fat milk offers a range of nutritional benefits, including high-quality protein, calcium, and vitamins D and B12. Contrary to popular belief, moderate consumption of full-fat dairy may even support weight management and reduce the risk of chronic diseases like type 2 diabetes. The saturated fats in full-fat milk can also provide sustained energy and support hormone production.

Dark Chocolate

Dark chocolate, particularly with high cocoa content (70% or higher) which is what I used in this dish, is a rich source of antioxidants and flavanols. These compounds have been shown to improve heart health by lowering blood pressure, improving blood flow, and reducing inflammation. Dark chocolate may also boost cognitive function, improve mood, and even support weight management by reducing cravings for sweet or salty snacks.
