Chocolate Cake

This recipe creates a soft and fluffy cake with only 4 ingredients. It’s high protein and doesn’t use any flour. It’s super easy to make and can be whipped up quick for an evening dessert.

This cake isn’t very sweet, but you can adjust the sweetness to your taste, this was a hit with my kid!

Ingredients:

1 ripe banana
2 heaped tbsp cocoa powder
2 tbsp maple syrup
3 eggs
Contents of one organ capsule (I used the Homegrown brand)(Optional)

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to bake mode and let it heat up for a few minutes.
In a small compact mixer, combine the banana, cocoa powder, maple syrup, and eggs. Mix until the batter is smooth and plenty of bubbles form.
Pour the batter into a glass round dish. (17cm)
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Serve with yogurt.

Tips:

Make sure to use a ripe banana for the best flavor.
If you prefer a stronger chocolate flavor, you can add more cocoa powder.
You can also top your cake with your favorite frosting or glaze for an extra-special treat.
If you prefer it sweeter add more sweetness like maple syrup, sugar or honey.
