Ingredients

  • ½ cup full-fat plain yogurt
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 2 tsp maple syrup adjust to taste

Instructions

Melt the butter:

  • In a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, gently melt the butter until just liquid—don’t overheat.

Mix cocoa and maple syrup:

  • In a small bowl, stir the cocoa powder into the melted butter until smooth. Add maple syrup and stir again until fully combined.

Add yogurt:

  • Gently fold the cocoa-butter mixture into the yogurt. Stir slowly until it's completely smooth and creamy.

Chill (optional):

  • You can eat it right away, but chilling for 30–60 minutes will thicken it slightly and make it even more pudding-like.

Notes

Optional toppings:
  • A sprinkle of extra cocoa or cinnamon
  • A swirl of extra maple syrup
  • Shaved butter (yes, it’s a thing) or sea salt flakes for contrast
  • Fresh berries or other fruit
